Sheaffer began its buniness in Taiwan, China in 1952 and since then its founders have worked hard to produce durable and sharp knives for their customers, to mee its customers’ diverse needs. Gradually, sheaffer's reputation became widespread in Taiwan, China and it became known as the "King of Knives". In the 1970s, one of the founder's sons was sent to Japan to learn the skills, and on his return he applied the knife making skills he had acquired in Japan to the production of Western and Chinese knives, resulting in a significant transformation in his skills. Today, Sheaffer's headquarters and main factory are located in Nantong city, Jiangsu.
1952 - At the age of 32, the founder Baoguo Wang started selling knives in Nantou city.
1955- Baoguo Wang opened a small knife workshop and sharpening shop in Taichung city.
1969 - Baoguo Wang established a factory in Taichung City, Sheaffer began to take shape.
1982 - Baoguo Wang opened the second factory in Nantou city.
1996 - Baoguo Wang moved the factory from China Taiwan to Shanghai.
2003 - A second factory was established in Suzhou city.
2017 - Sheafer relocation to Nantong.
2023 - Establishing a branch in Nanyang, Henan.
